Principal Physiotherapist

Jason graduated in 1991 and was one of the first four students to complete his degree with Honours. He began his career at St Vincent’s and Mt Royal Hospitals, gaining valuable early experience across a broad range of clinical areas before relocating to South West Victoria.

In 1994, Jason established Western District Physiotherapy in Camperdown and Terang. More than 30 years later, he continues to lead the practice as Principal Physiotherapist, remaining committed to delivering high-quality, community-focused physiotherapy care.

Throughout his career, Jason has enjoyed several professional highlights, including working at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, supporting Victorian Netball teams, and providing physiotherapy services to the Camperdown and Terang Football Netball Clubs across different periods.

Jason treats a wide range of conditions and particularly enjoys managing:

Back and neck pain

Ankle, knee and hip injuries

Shoulder, elbow and wrist injuries

Vertigo

Post-operative rehabilitation (including hip, knee and shoulder joint replacements)

Hospital inpatients

His treatment approach combines manual therapy, massage, exercise prescription and dry needling, tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and cycling around the South West.

Clinical Lead Physiotherapist

 Kim joined the Western District Physiotherapy team in 2024 and has quickly established himself as a highly skilled and respected clinician. His strong clinical reasoning, patient-centred approach, and commitment to excellence led to his promotion to Clinical Lead.

Kim brings experience across a wide range of physiotherapy settings, including Paediatrics, Neurology, Musculoskeletal and Geriatric care. This diverse background allows him to tailor treatment plans to each individual, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care for every stage of life.

He has recently completed certification in dry needling and incorporates this technique as an adjunct to his broader treatment approach, enhancing outcomes for appropriate patients.

Kim is passionate about helping clients achieve meaningful improvements in function, confidence, and quality of life.

 Aeres graduated in 2020 and has gained experience across a broad range of physiotherapy areas, including musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopaedic and sports-related conditions. He enjoys working with people of all ages and helping them move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Since joining Western District Physiotherapy in September, Aeres has quickly built a busy outpatient caseload — a testament to his approachable manner and commitment to quality care. Patients appreciate his calm, friendly approach and clear explanations throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Aeres consults at both of our clinic locations, making it easy for patients to access care that suits their schedule.

Outside of work, Aeres enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through badminton and basketball.

Practice Manager

Jeanette has been the Practice Manager at Western District Physiotherapy for over 25 years and is an integral part of our clinic’s leadership and day-to-day operations.

With a background in Physiotherapy Assistance, Jeanette has a strong understanding of clinical processes and patient care. She works closely with our physiotherapists to support the delivery of high-quality services, while also leading and mentoring our administration team to ensure the clinic runs efficiently.

Jeanette is highly experienced in navigating funding pathways and can assist with a wide range of physiotherapy-related and funding queries, helping patients access the care and support they need.

In addition, Jeanette is accredited to collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing, further supporting our workplace health and screening services.

Her depth of experience, practical knowledge, and long-standing commitment to the community make her a trusted resource for both patients and staff.

Reception Admin

Karen is one of the friendly faces you’ll see at both our Terang and Camperdown clinics. She plays a key role in keeping the front desk running smoothly across both locations.

With her approachable manner and strong knowledge of our clinic systems, Karen is always ready to assist with appointment bookings, changes, and any questions you may have. She understands that visiting a health service can sometimes feel overwhelming, and she takes pride in making the process simple and stress-free.

Whether you’re calling the clinic or walking through the door, Karen will ensure you feel welcomed and well looked after.

Reception Admin

Kate brings valuable experience from working in a busy GP clinic, where she developed strong organisational skills and a calm, professional approach to patient care.

She has quickly adapted to the needs of physiotherapy clients and understands the importance of efficient scheduling, clear communication, and a welcoming first impression. Kate is always happy to assist with booking appointments, answering queries, and helping ensure your experience at the clinic runs smoothly.

With her friendly manner and attention to detail, Kate plays an important role in supporting both our patients and clinical team.
